Peace and anti-nuclear
The Nuclear Awareness Group (NAG) was established by Reading Borough Council in 1994 following the Community Inquiry into safety at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE). NAG was set up to promote public awareness of nuclear safety and environmental issues related to AWE and to encourage best practice on all health and safety matters relating to the handling of radioactive materials.
