About us
Greater Reading Environmental Network (GREN) is a network of voluntary groups and individuals across Greater Reading, working together to
- Represent our members and act as their collective ‘voice’; lobby and campaign on sustainability, environment, planning and conservation issues
- Promote the work of member groups, sharing of information and resources and cooperative action on these issues
- Support and carry out work that helps to build the sustainability of the communities of Greater Reading and the wider world
GREN is a democratic membership-based voluntary organisation. We have a management committee with legal and financial responsibilities but our policies and actions are determined by member meetings that are open to all. Meeting agendas and minutes can be found in the Resources section.
To become a member of GREN you should live or work in Reading or the surrounding areas and be able to commit to our aims and values. To become a member register here.
